NEW DELHI: At least 113 people were killed and scores injured Tuesday in a massive stampede at a Hindu temple in the western state of Rajasthan.
Jodhpur police official, Malini Agarwal said that over 12,000 Hindu worshippers had gathered at a temple for performing their religious rites. The injured have been shifted to the hospital, while appeals were being made to the people for remaining calm and peaceful.
