Barack Obama, India reaction is quite overwhelming as if he is attached with Indian minds too. ‘The recent US elections has not only been a historic win for the elected Afro-American President Mr. Barack Obama but also a win of marginalised section of the society’, said Smt.Meira Kumar, Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
Smt.Meira Kumar, a leader for marginalised and weaker section of society, was speaking while interacting with a group of 27 students under the civic action programme conducted by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in the north east. The education excursion is a step of ITBP to make the girl students from the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh familiar with the rest of the country and to make them feel an integral part of the country.
